Sunday Post #3: Early Seasonal Decorator?

by Aleen @ Lampshade Reader

Welcome back to the Sunday Post! Sit back, kick up your feet, and relax!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

This week I went one step further in my seasonal decorating. I had my fall already out (In fact, since September 1st) and my Halloween decorations were calling out my name. I don’t go too crazy for Halloween, so I just dedicated one area to the event. It seems that I have a thing for ghosts as that was the one item that was abundant in my collection 🙂

Now, when it comes to Christmas, that’s when I go all out. I’ve often remarked that I need a whole room of storage for my decorations. My husband was not amused. Bah! Anyways, below are some pictures of my seasonal frenzy. (My Halloween one seems hazy, maybe there is a ghost causing that? haha)

Mmm, I could probably rival you with the Christmas decorations lol. When I lived with my parents, I was the one who set up the mini Christmas town every year, and I kid you not it reached the point in which it took over the coffee table, a large folding table, various spots on the china cabinet/displays, and all the extra floor space in between cabinets and such around the edge of the room. (Once I have space of my own, I plan to take my Christmas town back! Lol.) And of course there were other random decorations scattered throughout… Read more »

I think seasonal decorating is half the fun, especially for Halloween. It just makes this time of year even more fun. I especially like all the harvest stuff this month and next… hope you have a great reading week!
