Sunday Post #5: Where Did the Week Go?

by Aleen @ Lampshade Reader

Welcome back to the Sunday Post! Sit back, kick up your feet, and relax!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

I can’t believe it’s Sunday already! For some reason this week really flew by and here I am writing this post.

A few interesting things that will be coming up for me this week. In terms of the blog, there is a Halloween themed blog hop coming up and a book tour (schedule below). For me, I’m so excited to be going to Buns and Roses Romance Tea for Literacy in Dallas. This will be the second year that I’m attending. I’ll get to mingle with romance authors and sit at a table with like minded people and have tea and snacks. Later, there will be a book signing. It’s really fun and it’s all for the good cause of literacy. This year’s key note speaker is Jill Shalvis! EEEP! Totally fan girling over here. I’ll try not to embarrass myself too much. 🙂 I might also bring back some goodies for giveaways….

So, because of that, there will not be a Sunday Post next week. However, I’ll share some pics (if I remember to take them) and share them with you later.

I received a print bundle of The Question Series by Angeline Fortin! 6 books total. I was so excited to get these.

Sorry, I was too lazy to take a picture of mine 😀 Oh, book 6 (A Question Worth Asking) in not technically isn’t the box set, but it is still available.

Speaking of box sets….

Have fun at the literacy event! And I love all the hops and Halloween-ish stuff going on, but yes October is flying by!

It sounds busy and I’m reading a lot about Halloween adventures coming up. We don’t celebrate Halloween here in Australia but it’s becoming more popular – more about the dressing up and trick or treating than any meaning behind it etc…

That Halloween themed blog hop sounds nice! And have fun at the Buns and Roses Romance Tea, that does sound like a lot of fun! Oh and you get to meet Jill Shalvis?! That’s awesome! I read her Cedar Ridge series and really enjoyed them. Have a great week!
