Clue finds six colorful dinner guests gathered at the mansion of their host, Mr. Boddy — who turns up dead after his secret is exposed: He was blackmailing all of them. With the killer among them, the guests and Boddy’s chatty butler must suss out the culprit before the body count rises.

(Info received from IMDB)

Okay, so it’s not spooky or scary, but it’s definitely campy and fun. I love anything humorous and this movie adds a lighthearted take on Halloween. No blood, guts or gore, but a murder mystery based on one of my favorite board games. I still have the books and I collected them with a passion.

It also has a very cool cast with Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn and Christopher Lloyd, among the most notable. Clue, the movie, provides some funny quotes and I know them all by heart.

All the characters are portrayed uniquely, with a slightly idiotic Coronal Mustard, a sassy Miss Scarlett, and tragic but funny Mrs. White. A really enjoyable performance by Tim Curry as Mr. Boddy’s butler makes me wish they had made this into a TV series with multiple stories instead of one movie. At least then I would have more to watch. There are 3 different endings to the movie which is unique to anything I’ve ever watched. I gotta say I have my favorite ending, but if you haven’t seen it, then I won’t give it away ;).

Have you seen Clue? If so, what did you think? If not, what is on your must watch list around Halloween?
