His For the Holidays
Margaret Caulfield has loved Zachary Montjoy, Viscount Tunbridge since she was girl. When she accidentally mistakes his room for hers one holiday night, she gives in to desire. But when Zachary fails to propose marriage, she flees to Boston to try and forget the only man she’ll ever love.
Zachary never realized until it was too late how much he loved Margaret. Now she’s returned from America, and he’s determined to heal the breach between them and make her His for the Holidays.
This is a short story of approximately 28 pages. Originally written for a blog, it’s been modified and expanded into a 10,000 word story. This story is a 3 on the flame monitor for sensual, steamy reading.
I didn’t know a novella could have such sweet and spicy aspects all in one neat little package. It was a super short read (about 28 or so pages) but dang did the arrogant, yet sexy Viscount Tunbridge steam up the pages. His For the Holidays by Monica Burns will surely inject some much needed smexy joy to your holiday reads.
Okay, so we got two people here with crossed signals. They meet again at a holiday party and things steam up between them again. When I said that the Viscount was arrogant, I wasn’t lying. He seemed borderline aggressive in some parts, but was glad to know that it was all his outer facade. Men don’t show their emotions (especially of love), after all. *tsk*
Margaret is a saucy little thing. Saucy secrets that play out throughout the course of this story. It’s alluded that she did something naughty and *gasp* it was super naughty for an average historical romance lady.
Professions of love will conclude this in a very satisfying ending. Short and sweet. Enough said.
