Obviously you should choose the pot of gold. The gold coins might have a high resale value for their collectibility. And the three wishes always turn out wrong. Ergo: pot of gold.

If I caught a leprechaun, I’d ask for the pot of gold, then only keep part of the gold & give the pot with the rest of the gold back to the leprechaun. I don’t need a lot of money & the leprechaun wouldn’t feel so bad losing a little rather than all of it. The three wishes? Meh ~ too easy to get in trouble with those & you have to be very very careful in how you word them or you could end up not only being in a pickle, but being a pickle!
