Sunday Post #32: May Is Flying By

by Aleen @ Lampshade Reader

Welcome back to the Sunday Post! Sit back, kick up your feet, and relax!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

I really can’t believe we’re already past the first week of May. Then it’s Mother’s Day and Memorial Day, and before you know it… Christmas. *ack!*

The garden looks fabulous. Everything is still green and happy; except for my peach trees though. They never bore fruit until last year and this year they just did not come back. Not a single leaf. I’m pretty sad about that.

Frida loves a certain spot in the garden. She probably thinks she’s helping the seedlings by sitting on them. 😀

On the reading front, I only finished Lady Mechanika Vol. 3. I’m still reading The Girl Who Knew Too Much by Amanda Quick. I’m loving it, but it’s a little slow. I also went a little overboard with the ARC requests. I might regret that LOL.

I’m taking pictures of the products that I have in stock; all in order to get my store up and running before my new site launch. It’s a little daunting, and I won’t be able to list everything in the beginning, but it’s a start.

I had a surprise gift this week, from one of my good friends from High School. So glad we have the love of reading in common. I love these book exchanges.
