Sunday Post #51: Updates

by Aleen @ Lampshade Reader

Welcome back to the Sunday Post! Sit back, kick up your feet, and relax!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

I’ve kind of figured that my Sunday Posts will be an every other week deal. Unless I have something to say, it will be a bi-weekly update. 🙂 Also, if I’ve taken a long time in visiting blogs, I apologize. It’s really busy in my life right now and I have designated days to catch up on comments and whatnot. I’m not ignoring you!

Sundays are my ‘Catch up on Reviews’ day. Since the hubby does fantasy football and bogarts the T.V., I actually have an excuse to work on blog related things.

I have some updates on the house! The shingles are up and the siding is almost done! Yay! (pictures below). It’s coming together faster than I thought. I’m not looking forward to the moving part though… as if I wasn’t already busy… Technically, I’m not sure when the house will be completed. I’m guessing around the New Year?

Enjoying it so far. Vasya’s story continues with this one.

I like the story. The narration takes some getting used to…

I love Lauren Willig! This was available on Netgalley as a ‘Read Now’.  Grab it while you can.

I have two reviews to write, but putting it off until tomorrow evening. I want to read or watch a little telly today. Hope your week is productive and enjoyable.

Enjoy watching your new house come together! The moving part is never fun, but once you’re in, you will enjoy nesting.

That’s alright if you are busy 🙂 everyone’s sometimes too busy to do ALL the blog hopping, haha.

I saw The English Wife on Netgally and it did look really promising!

Sandy @ Somewhere Only We Know

Congrats on the house progress! Husband and I have dreams of building one day, but we’ve got to get into just the right financial position for that. It’ll be grand to have more space though. Enjoy your new books. Looks like a few good ones!
