Sunday Post #56: A Winter Wonderland

by Aleen @ Lampshade Reader

Welcome back to the Sunday Post! Sit back, kick up your feet, and relax!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

So this happened this week…

This doesn’t happen very often where I live, so seeing this was a treat. The cats, however, did not appreciate it one bit…

It was super cold at night, but that lends to the extra coziness factor that I love. Plus, coupled with a good book, I was in heaven. I’m starting to cheer up a bit and the building of our house is actually lifting my spirits as well. I promised pics and here is one of our kitchen with the cabinets installed.

We have basically picked everything out, so all that’s left is picking out the stain for the cabinets and wall paint color. 🙂

We almost never get any snow where I live.

Oh my goodness, look at all that snow! Well, to me that’s a lot. LOL What a novelty.
Your cabinets look lovely! Glad it’s coming along and glad you’re feeling a bit better.

It’s currently snowing in Colorado, yippee. I’ve been waiting for it and it has finally here. I’ll be on the lookout for your Adventures in Bullet Journaling #1, I’ve been curious about bullet journals and I wouldn’t know where to start. It’s hard being without a working kitchen, we did a remodel last year and it was a learning experience. Cabinets look wonderful. Enjoy your new reads and have a wonderful week.

I think snow is nice if I don’t have to go anywhere! And having a good book or two helps too. 🙂 I can imagine the cats were not amused though… mine aren’t either. 🙂

That cover for Haunting the Deep is amazing!

I guess that I would be happy to see snow if it was a rare thing. i am hoping that we don’t get a big snow this year like we sometimes do. Nice to see your house starting to take shape. I think it would be exciting to get to pick out everything to your taste. Have a great week!

Oh the house looks like its coming along. That has to be so exciting! We had snow here too. But, I live in Ohio, so its not surprising! Hope you have a great week!

So much snow here, too! And really cold temps, which I do not appreciate. And look at all that cabinet space!!! I’m a little jealous! I love my kitchen, but it is small and doesn’t have much storage. Can’t wait to see how it turns out, though!

I am not a snow fan. I am glad that NJ was spared this past week. I have the new Kinsella too. She is such a favorite of mine. I hope this one is great!
