by Aleen @ Lampshade Reader

Welcome back to the Sunday Post! Sit back, kick up your feet, and relax!

sunday-post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Not much going on this week but a lot of running around doing errands. I saw the dentist (ugh) and we had to make decisions on a few house things.

That’s the exciting part!

We picked out our stain for the wood cabinets and trim, and picked out our wall color: marshmallow. (Leave it up to me to pick something named after a food item). Also, we had to give the okay on the driveway and sidewalks. They will hopefully pour the concrete next week.

They were quick to start the staining process as well, but I couldn’t get a good picture of that because it was dark out. I’m really excited that it’s progressing a little faster.

How are you liking Hello Stranger? I’m in the middle of it and really enjoying it. And I’ll have to see about that Jill Shalvis…

Enjoy the house progress. I’m sure you’re eager for it to be done!

Oh that is exciting on the house! Paint colors always make me laugh. And definite ugh on the dentist!

Ugh, the dentist. I had to go twice in January and it wasn’t exactly a highlight. LOL
So exciting to make all those house decisions and see it starting to come together. 🙂
That cover of All the Ever Afters is gorgeous! Plus, such a cool title.
I hope your week is off to a good start, Aleen!

Ugh, dentist appointments. Paint colors seem to have fun names, I have Swiss Coffee on my walls, but you never see names like Steak 😉 I haven’t read any thing by Jill Shalvis, I have been seeing her name around lately. Have a wonderful day.

I have never read any books by Kleypas but this one sounds interesting. I had a dentist appointment too last week and it was the same. I hope you have a great week!

It has to be really exciting to see your house come together. It would be really hard to make all of those decisions. I hope to start reading the Kleypas book very soon. I just love her writing. Enjoy your new books and have a wonderful week!

I love Shalvis and hope to start the new series soon. I can get the book from Overdrive, which makes it easier for me to read it. Eager to hear what you think of Rainy Days. And when I was reading your wall color, I so wanted it to Willy Wonkish, so when you walked in the room, you could smell it too. Yum!

Are you having a house built? That sounds amazing and stressful. Have a great week!

Sounds like a lot of house stuff going on! Are you building or redecorating? My friend built and he said the sheer number of things they had to decide was crazy!

Hope you have a great week 🙂

I’m getting ready to do some painting but struggling over colors. Spring is drawing near and I get that urge to shake out the nest. LOL

I hate going to the dentist, so I understand how you feel.

Oh, I hate dentist appointments! I’m done for a few months, but I had to go to the eye doctor. It was a long wait…and then tedious with the tests. Done for another year!

I love the look of Rainy Day Friends.

Picking out things for the house are fun!

Enjoy your reading…and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
