Sunday Post #74: Weekly Round Up

by Aleen @ Lampshade Reader

Welcome back to the Sunday Post! Sit back, kick up your feet, and relax!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Hope everyone had a great holiday season. Ours was really low key since we are in the process of moving. (Which we still are btw). The good thing about this move is that the new house is only 35 minutes away. We’ve been going at least twice a week and hopefully will be done this month.

My reading schedule is much more relaxed, even with a couple of ARCs that I couldn’t resist. Fun fact: when I packed away all my books, I labeled some boxes TBR and seeing all those boxes made me feel a little bit overwhelmed. There are a lot of books!

Love this series!

Sunday Post Headers Currently Playing

Actually, I’m all over the place with my video games right now, but mostly I’ve started playing Skyrim again. Massive game with a lot to do.

Glad to hear you’re house is ready and you’re starting your move!
We moved into our new build in October over the course of about a month and it was a painful process but it’s so nice when you’re in and able to just enjoy it.

I LOVED The Winter of the Witch. I hope you enjoy it. Have a great week. Anne – Books of My Heart

I’ve always wanted to play Skyrim and just never have. Isn’t there like an online version too? If so do you recommend one or the other- the single player or online game?

Good luck with the moving!

I’m glad your new place isn’t too far. Hopefully you’ll be all moved in and settled soon!! Most of the books on my shelves are probably ones that I still need/want to read. I really need to focus on that more this year! lol

Aj @ Read All The Things!

Good luck with your move. Have a great week!

Enjoy Skyrim! I was just telling my students how much I enjoy watching people play video games like that, but I get too nervous to play them myself! When people attack me or shot at me, I freak out! Ha!

Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer

So are you moving furniture and stuff bit by bit or doing renovations before the final move? We painted, replaced all the carpeted and tiled a home once before we moved in. It was crazy. We spent 30 days doing it.

The Winter of the Witch has a gorgeous cover. Enjoy all of your books, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

I’m sure you’ll be glad when the move is done. I hate moving but I know at some point we are gonna have to get out of this neighborhood.

Tanya @ Girl Plus Books

Hooray for there being an end in sight with the move. That has to be a relief. I wouldn’t want to see all my TBR books in one pile… eeek! LOL

Grace @ Rebel Mommy Book Blog

Good luck with the rest of the move! I need to stay that series. Everyone raves about it. Hope got have a great week!
